(In Nvidia Control Panel the automatic choice for oculus programs is my integrated graphics card. I hoped it would work with the v42 update I recieved today but the stutter is still there + now I get many weird notifications that "user." joined their home. My games are unplayable for me at the moment :(. ![]() Tried disabling home just in case it was an exclusive problem, but the same is happening in other programs too (Steam VR, VR Chat, Superhot VR.) and using Air Link instead of the wired connection didn't change anything as well. The console gets flooded with messages likeĬode: -6100 - ovrError_XRStreamingGeneralIssueĭescription: Frame 47622 dropped due to encoder backup The performance headroom spikes up and down very fast and after a few seconds it turns even negative % (dips below 0). I activated the performance HUD in the debug tool and the console to see what is going on. I lowered the recommended resolution (3616 x 1840 75 Hz) but even on the lowest setting (2432 x 1216 75 Hz) it still happens. I searched on the Internet for a solution and tried every "fix" I could find, but nothing helped. A few seconds after oculus home loaded in, everything began to stutter. I connected the Quest 2 with my msi gaming laptop and started Link. ![]() After playing some demos on the headset itself, I was looking forward to play the VR games I purchased on Steam. ![]()
